Realisation

 I have realised how childish this blog has been up until now. I don't think I can continue like this.

I'll try to keep it a little more professional.

I have unlisted my releases on bandcamp.

While I do like the playful style of Meadow Corps' current branding, looking back on it, I don't want any of those releases to be recognised in the future as KooperTheTrooper15's first material.

Consider it unreleased. When they're ready, the original concepts for those albums will be remixed into something new that says more about me. What I did was rushed, unprofessional, and most importantly, ear-murdering.

Sound quality was terrible, effects were stolen and miscredited, and a couple of Human Rights were broken.

For the time being, while I absolutely hate erasing history, my bandcamp will remain empty. A more professional-sounding album will be recorded. Maybe I do it alone, or maybe with a band. Who knows what will be.

Every post under this will be tagged as "legacy".

Totally unexpected news

 so, remember that radio I posted about?

I just don't trust the provider.

So i'm leaving that idea behind, and if I'm ever able to get back to it again, I'll tell you. But it's very unlikely.

I'm gonna try to start making videos and music more often.

And you know, making music too.

The year's gonna end and I've only got like 5 songs, 2 of which I'm gonna scrap or shelf cause they're really bad.

Actually, one of them isn't that bad, but the recording was a mess and I didn't write down any of the notes.

Yeah, next time I'll try to write them somewhere.

Christmas Just Popped Into My Mind (feat. My lamp's buzzing) (50's remix) (2009 mono remaster)

 I'm making a new album.

So, the other day (more like one month ago tbh) I was in the shower singing Sleigh Ride for no reason and the melody for a new Christmas song came into my mind.

I could record it now but who tf would listen to it?? It's not Christmas after all so I decided to just improve lyrics and try to add like a FULL orchestra to it and make a "Wall of Sound" like Phil Spector calls it.

I'm also gonna try to find some rattles, coz every Christmas song has got one of those.

I have always feared one thing whenever I write one bit of music, and it's that one part is too similar to another song. And y'know, I could get sued for that, even if I didn't notice the similarity.
